PRESIDENT, Player development & Program coach
BRIAN SCALABRINE
Coach Scal is an 11 year NBA veteran and 2008 NBA champion with the Boston Celtics. Scal is a gym rat, who is either in the gym as a television analyst for the Boston Celtics, or spending countless hours in the gym in his free time working with players to raise their floors and make them better players.
Scal earned his nickname "White Mamba" from former NBA player and current NBA television analyst Stacy King after Scal made a pair of white shoes with red laces and a snake skin pattern.
Raised in Enumclaw, Washington, Scalabrine attended the University of Southern California where he was the top scorer and a leader in field goals and rebounds.
The New Jersey Nets selected him in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft.
Scal currently serves a television analyst for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is also the co-host of "The Starting Lineup", which airs weekdays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET on SiriusXM NBA Radio.

MATT MARGOLIS
Matt grew up locally in the Boston area and played at Oliver Ames High School helping lead his team to consecutive south sectional finals and finished his playing career at Babson College. He has been coaching youth basketball for the last decade. Matt currently serves as the General Manager, Program Director and Program Coach at Team White Mamba.

TONY GALLO
Tony runs the North Shore White Mamba division serving as a coach and trainer.
Coach Tony began his college career at Umass Lowell (D2) before finishing his college career at Coppin State (D1). After college Tony played professionally in Europe.
Coach Tony has worked with over 1,000 kids as a coach, mentor and trainer. He has trained boys and girls from all over New England and Europe, ranging in ages from 3-17. He also currently trains D1, D2 and D3 players, as well as some Pro players.

SAM DONER
Sam Doner played collegiately at Westfield State and Mount Ida College. For the last 25 years he has been coaching high school and college boys and girls. He's currently head coach of the National Girls Team at The Newman School (NEPSAC /AA). Sam is proficient trainer and basketball instructor with deep knowledge of drills and skills. Sam has trained and coached with hundreds of college athletes including several players that played in the WNBA.

AMY MARGOLIS
Amy Drechsler Margolis is a graduate of Greece Athena High School, NY, where she began playing Varsity basketball as an eighth grader. During her five-year basketball career she scored 1,362 points, collected 682 rebounds and blocked 213 shots. On the national level, she was the first Rochester, NY Area female to be selected as a pre-season High School All-American candidate by Street and Smith’s and was a nominee for the NIKE/WBCA High School All-American Team.
She was rewarded with a four-year full scholarship to NCAA Division I Providence College (Big East Conference) where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Amy has been coaching youth basketball for the last decade. She is currently serving as the assistant coach of the National Girls Team at The Newman School (NEPSAC /AA)

MICHAEL PERRY
Michael is trainer and program coach focused on player development for Team White Mamba. Michael grew up locally in the area playing at Bishop Feehan and Tabor Academy in high school before taking his talents on the hardwood to Wheaton College. After his time at Wheaton he got experience playing in Valencia Spain before returning home and starting his coaching and training career.

COACH/TRAINER
ALEX GIANNAROS
From Brockton, MA, Alex attended Tabor Academy before playing four years at Boston University. A two-time team captain, Alex led NCAA Division I in 3-point field goal percentage during the 2022-2023 season and finished her career in Top 6 scoring in BU Women’s basketball history. Graduating in May with a degree in Education and Human Development, Alex is excited to join the White Mamba family and bring her experience to developing young athletes.
